Compagnia Baccalà is an internationally-touring physical theatre company based in Locarno.
Simone Fassari and Camilla Pessi met at the Accademia Teatro Dimitri. In 2010 they created Pss Pss, a show gleefully received and acclaimed all over the world. A mix of slapstick, pathos, circus and clown, winner of 15 international prizes, unique, funny, virtuoso and very charming, Pss Pss has been performed over 800 times in over 50 countries and on 5 continents.
Pss Pss has been shown at The London International Mime Festival 2011, was a sell-out show at Avignon Festival France 2011, 2013, 2015 and Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2014 and 2016. It has played in New York, London, Paris, Berlin and maybe one day Rome.
A new show premiered on 17th January 2018. It’s called Oh Oh. It’s now touring.
